The Speakeasy Collective
HHHG Podcast Review
Kenneth is always innovating, pushing boundaries.
“The album draws inspiration from the secretive energy of the Prohibition-era speakeasies, fusing elements of old-school jazz with avant-garde sounds, resulting in a high-energy yet intimate listening experience.”
The album is approachable and enjoyable for everyone, it’s not just for fans of Jazz, everyone can appreciate this music. Progressive Jazz can be intimidating, but the way the songs are put together, I found the album uplifting and joyful - Heather Lawson- photographist and host of HHHG
Progressive, jazzy and accessible, The Speakeasy Collective achieves its goal, giving the listener the feeling of listening to band in a speakeasy, with a sense of safety and community, you can relax and kick back with a good tune -

The Black Tide
Head Banger Reviews
“The Black Tide”. With a 16-minute runtime to go along with a singular tracklist, K Prouty accomplishes a feat that is never given enough credit from just about every angle, and it’s here that “The Black Tide” absolutely dominates as the band’s musical prowess is in full swing with every minute of this effort flowing together brilliantly to craft an experience that cannot be considered anything other than potent.

Energy Frequency Vibration
Head Banger Reviews
The very name of this album is taken from a quote from Nikola Tesla: “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration”. And it’s really the entirety of this record that does a surprising job at bringing such a premise to life without much struggle to be had at any point in its existence. K Prouty has done nothing but absolute justice for the concept of a progressive album that quickly takes on an infectious life of its own

San Diego Blather
Have you ever heard anyone claim that metal suffers from a lack of definitive music? You know, for some reason, some people do not hear the intricate finger work and the incredible shredding with complicated drum work. They just hear noise. As those who love this genre and it’s sub-genres, we know that this “noise” is rich with multi layers of musical talent and influences. Nevertheless, such as the case with any and all forms of art – opinions vary per individual. So, today, I’m introducing K Prouty who is new to me and I hope you will completely fall in love with what you’re about to hear. K Prouty creations are unique instrumental progressive metal that made me feel I was enjoying lovingly created atmospheric and ethereal but still very much metal creations. This is some of the sweetest of ear candy I’ve heard so please kick back and enjoy the enclosed videos. Well, after we do the band information and social media links etc. You know the drill!
