So yes the new EP Winterheart will be out 5-30-2021. I decided to spend more time on living and art, than socials and posting, so there is a big lag in getting around to updates.
So let start 2021 in March we packed up and left the west coast, we are now in Michigan. That being said we have already had radio play on WRIF 101 Detroit, and you can see what's coming up above.
I'm excited to get Winterheart out, as always it's a step further into this genre and style I'm building. It is 4 tracks, 1.Winterheart, 2. First snow, 3. Cold river and 4. Northern lights. Winterheart kicks it off with and amazing riff and right into a lead section and when you think you know where were going there's a curveball or two. First snow is the "mellow" song of the offering, built around the piano and drums. Don't let that fool you it still rocks and has sweeps galore, tapping and melodic shredding throughout. Cold river takes us back into black metal territory and serves up rapids, waterfalls, ice and a couple curve balls itself. Northern lights puts the stamp on this collection with a melodic tapping riff and technical wizardry beyond what you've heard on previous work that keeps building into the final crescendo where the song winds down with beautiful strings, chords, tapped quadruplets, melodic lead patterns and bass lines.
We hope to be playing live soon, but who knows.
